Sue Black Tribute

Sue Black Tribute

Many of our supporters and volunteers know of our beloved Community Cat Program Coordinator, Sue Black. She served in her role for nearly 4 years, bringing her entire heart and soul to each cat or kitten that crossed her path. Before that, Sue spent over a decade volunteering with Good Mews in roles including Daily Care, Kitty Buddy, and Fostering. Many good kitties have started their journey to a good home by first learning love by humans through Sue’s care.

“I am only one, but I am one. I cannot do everything, but I can do something. And I will not let what I cannot do interfere with what I can do.” – Edward Everett Hale

These are words that Sue Black always lived by. Her passion for helping cats (and humans) was expansive and never ending. Sue has changed many lives during her time on this earth and she will be greatly missed.

Good Mews would like to pay tribute to Sue Black and her boundless passion by dedicating a new transport vehicle in her memory. This will help us continue expanding the Community Cat Program that she was so dedicated to.
